The Superfan Philosophy.
Whether you’re working in the music industry or with a consumer app, one superfan is more valuable than 100 fair-weather fans. The philosophy is simple: Identify your superfans, meet them where they are, and help them become evangelists for your brand.
Employers & Clients:
What I Do
Optimize The Journey
Before someone becomes a brand evangelist, they have to get to a magic moment - an experience that makes them say “Aha! This makes my life better.”
After some testing, you’ll see where your magic moment lies. It could be your fan’s first concert, or the first time a user tries a feature on your app. This could happen before OR after your customer gets to a purchase point.
Unfortunately, companies can lose customers before they make it to a magic moment due to easily overlooked fixes: brand/text misalignments, unclear CTA’s, and misguided access points. That’s where I come in!
Foster Superfans
Even if a customer makes it to a purchase point, it doesn’t mean that they’ve become a superfan.
Superfans offer sustained revenue, bring in new audiences, ensure high quality engagement, and foster a better experience for all customers.
To foster a superfan, you have to bring them in to the club. They have to think “Wow! I’m a part of this community, and I’m proud of it.”
This happens through strategic re-engagement, a strong community, and a carefully designed user experience that optimizes for retention.
Psst! I love to build communities!
